Esther E. Rice

Canfield- Memorial services will be held at 11 am Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel for Esther Rice who died Thursday morning. Esther was born November 25, 1914 in Green Twp. the daughter of Wesley H. and Annabelle (Godward) Coy. Esther was a devoted member of Canfield Christian Church; she loved to play the piano for Sunday school. She had worked at in the account receivable department of Mellinger Lumber and Kirchner Lumber. She is survived by her husband Robert E. Rice whom she married June 6, 1962, sisters; Helen Bush of Canfield, Agnes Davis of Alexandria, LA., her brother Walter Coy of Canfield and was blessed to have many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Step son James V. Rice, her sisters; Estella Schooley, Anna Shears and brother Carl Coy. Family and friends may call from 10-11 am Tuesday prior to services at the funeral home. The family requests that memorial contributions take the form of donations to the church memorial fund or Hospice of the Valley.
