Ethel ''Debby'' G. Zabawa

Ethel “Debby” Zabawa, 87 Austintown—Funeral services will be held 10 AM Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home, Mineral Ridge Chapel, for Debby Zabawa who passed away early Saturday morning at the Humility House. She was born October 4, 1915 a daughter of Henry and Grace (Thrasher) Keeling in Warren, Ohio. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Niles, a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, and a graduate of Mineral Ridge High School. She also enjoyed dancing, cooking and her family. She is survived by 2 daughters Karen Zwigart of State College, PA, and Kathy Thomas of Howland, Ohio; 2 sisters Bernice Whittaker and Audrey Parish both of Mineral Ridge; four grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Fred Zabawa whom she married in 1934; 2 brothers Wayne and Norm Keeling; 2 sisters Helen Young and Ruby Pressell and an infant sister. Friends may call at the Lane Funeral Home Mineral Ridge Chapel from 7-9 PM Monday evening and a half hour prior to the services on Tuesday.
