Ethel Irene Dawson

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 29th at The Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel for Ethel I. Dawson of Canfield who passed away Monday evening at her home. Mrs. Dawson was born February 3rd, 1921 in Canfield, OH the daughter of Henry I. and Ruth (Liddle) Hine. Ethel lived in Virginia for twenty-five years where she was employed as a controller for Geneva Management Corp. She also owned and operated a dress shop in Fredricksburg VA, before retiring to Canfield. Most recently she was employed at Infocision in Austintown where at age 79 was inducted into their Hall of Fame for twice being named employee of the month. She was also a member of Calvary Ministries in Columbiana Ethel leaves a daughter Dianne R. Leach of Salem, 3 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, and 2 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Dawson was preceded in death by her Husband Jay Dawson whom she married Sept. 18, 1964 and passed away on Nov. 29th, 1996. Memorial contributions may be sent to either the church or to Heart Reach Ministries in Youngstown.
