Ethel M. Wait

Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday at Lane Funeral Home Mineral Ridge Chapel for Ethel M. Wait who passed away Wednesday morning at her home. Ethel was born January 13, 1929 in Youngstown a daughter of the late Samuel and Laura (Weimer) Farr. A homemaker, she was a former member of Grace Lutheran Church. Ethel loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved taking care of her family. Ethel will be sadly missed by her husband Fred "Ted" Wait whom she married February 25, 1947; three children: Samuel (Rita) Wait of Mineral Ridge, Fred (Judy) Wait of Austintown and Laura (Jim) Hale of Mineral Ridge; six grandchildren: Rob Wait, Kevin Wait, Tracy (Bob) Christy, Mark (Laura) Wait, Lisa (Mike) Kaiser and Jamie Hale; and eight great grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Chelsea, Logan, Hayden, Jared, Zachary, Ashley, and Alicia. Besides her parents, Ethel is preceded in death by two brothers George and Howard Farr and a great grandson Jayce. The family would like to thank Cheryl, Anna Marie, Mike and Patty for their love and care provided to Ethel. Memorial contributions may be made to Celtic Hospice in Ethel's name.
