At 11:45 pm Tuesday April 19, 2005 God called home to him, his daughter Ethel Mae Harding Hahn. Ethel was born September 27, 1901 in Canfield, a daughter of Urious Warren and Margaret Mae (Rosser) Harding. She married Joseph Bryan Hahn of Springhill Virginia on December 16, 1919. Joseph passed away April 7, 1961. Ethel gave birth to sixteen children; raised thirteen; saw thirty two grandchildren born, seventy five or more great grandchildren and forty two or more great-great grandchildren. She was a member of Highway Tabernacle since the 1950’s and a devout Christian, putting all her faith in the Lord to help her raise her children the way he wanted her to. Raise them she did: Dorothy (the late Glenn Sr.) Elzholz of Arizona, Billy Glenn Sr. (Ethel) Hahn of Ravenna, Lois (the late Rev. F.A.) Wilson of California, Robert R. (Helen) of Akron, Joan (William) Patsy of Lordstown, Shirley Potter of Girard, Earl M. (Rose) Hahn of Vienna, Dean D. (Shirley) Hahn of North Lima, W. David (Betty) Hahn of Cuyahoga Falls, John D. Sr. (Gloria) Hahn of Boardman, Carol (Robert) McCalment of Florida, Sondra (Jack) Brace of Austintown, and Norman G. (Julie) Hahn of Boardman. Her life was long, her burdens heavy, but her faith was strong and her heart was huge. She was a loving mother, a gentle grandmother, a tireless friend and a truly sincere Christian. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Family and friends may call from 2 to 5 pm Sunday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel. Services will be 10:30 am Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Omni Manor Care Center c/o Paul Fabian Administrator 3245 Vestal Rd. Youngstown, Ohio 44509 in Ethel’s name.
