Eugene Kobylanski, of North Jackson, passed away at 12:25PM, Sunday, March 21, 2010 in Forum Health Northside Medical Center. He was 81 years old. Eugene was born on March 4, 1929 in Tamne, Poland the son of the late Antoni and Jozefa (Koksanowicz) Kobylanski and came to the United States in 1949. Retired from Wean United in 1982, Eugene worked in shipping and receiving for 30 years. He was of the catholic faith and a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church in Lake Milton and enjoyed farming and being outdoors. Eugene was married on July 2, 1955 in St. Stanislaw Catholic Church in Youngstown to the former Genevieve "Jenny" Dudzik and together they shared 54 years of marriage. Eugene is survived by his wife, Jenny; two sons Edward (Cindy) Kobylanski of Boardman and Richard Kobylanski of Austintown; and three grandchildren Stacie, Chad and Bryan Kobylanski. Besides his parents, Eugene was preceded in death by two sons John M. and Michael E. Kobylanski; two brothers Walter and Chester Kobylanski and two sisters Genevieve Pupek and Jadwiga Sulikowski. Calling hours will take place on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 from 5 until 8 PM in the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel, 5797 Mahoning Ave, Austintown, Ohio, 44515. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00AM Thursday, March 25, 2010 with Fr. David W. Merzweiler officiating in St. Catherine Catholic Church, 1254 Grandview Road, Lake Milton, Ohio, 44429, preceded by closing prayers to be recited at 9:00AM in the funeral home prior in leaving in procession to the church. Burial will follow in North Jackson Cemetery. "STO LAT!!!"
