Eugene L. Crepage of Vienna, OH, died unexpectedly at 3:47 PM on Friday in the Emergency Room at St. Joseph Hospital in Warren, OH. He was 71 years old. Mr. Crepage was born February 01, 1938, in Vienna, OH a son of George & Olga (Yaletchko) Crepage. He married the former Jane F. Burns on November 4, 1961 and together they would share more than forty-one years of marriage. Eugene served our country in the Army National Guard, and then went on to work at Packard Electric for more than thirty years before his retirement in 1988 from the shipping department. Since his retirement he enjoyed being outdoors, walking, spending time at Yankee Kitchen with friends, but most of all he enjoyed spending time being a grandfather to his four grandchildren William, Ashley, Lindsey, and Robert. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church in Vienna, OH. Mr. Crepage leaves behind two daughters Christine Swanson and her husband William of Brookfield, OH and Barbara Lubianetzki and her husband Michael of Vienna, OH; his brother Edward “Butch” Crepage of Vienna, OH; his sister Joanne Spurk and her husband William of Champion, OH; and his four grandchildren William, Ashley, Lindsey, and Robert Swanson. He was preceded in death by his wife Jane on January 19, 2003, and by his parents. Calling hours will be held Monday evening at Lane Funeral Homes Madasz Chapel, Brookfield, Ohio from 5-7 PM. Closing prayers will begin at 9:15AM on Tuesday September 22, 2009 at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church in Vienna, OH with the Rev. Frank Zanni Pastor. Burial will be with his wife at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna, OH. The family suggests that contributions be made to either St. Vincent De Paul Roman Catholic Church 4453 Warren-Sharon Road Vienna, OH 44473 or to St. Joseph Health Center c/o Cancer Care Center 627 Eastland Avenue Warren, OH 44485.
