Eva M Morrison

Eva M. Morrison, 93, of Warren passed away peacefully at her home 6:42AM Tuesday July 5, 2011 following a short illness. She was born Dec.29, 1917 in Clarksburg, West Virginia the daughter of the late George A. and Vina (Reed) Titus. A Warren area resident since 1929 coming from Clarksburg, Eva was a loving and devoted homemaker. She was a member of Blue Star Mothers Chapter 36 of Leavittsburg for over 50 years and had served as Ohio State and National President of the Blue Star Mothers. She was a former queen of the Trumbull County Chapter #302 of the Dames of Malta, a member of the Warren Emblem Club #397, the Warren Republican Club, the Labrae Band Boosters, and a long-time member of the First Community Church of Leavittsburg. Eva also served as a Republican pole worker for many years. Her husband James M. Morrison Sr. whom she married Nov. 7, 1936 preceded her in death along with a daughter JoAnn, a great granddaughter Shelby Hale and 4 brothers; Creed Titus, Carl Titus, Earl Titus and Leland Titus. Eva will be sadly missed by 2 sons James (Carol) Morrison Jr. of Girard, Robert L (Sheryl) Morrison of Negaunee, MI, daughter Dora Jean (Bud) Peek of Waltonville, IL, granddaughter Denise K. Simpson of Warren, and 2 special great granddaughters Amanda (Kenny) Moss-Oehmichen and Tara Simpson both of Warren. She also leaves numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday July 8, 2011 at the First Community Church of Leavittsburg. The Rev. Rodney Winyard will officiate. Friends will be received from 6-8 Thursday at Roberts-Clark Chapel and for 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Interment will be in Crown Hill Burial Park.
