Eva Varso

Youngstown-A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 9:30 am Tuesday in Mt. Carmel Church for Eva Varso who died Thursday afternoon in North Side Hospital. Eva was born December 3, 1915 in Indianapolis, IN. the daughter of Vincenzo and Carmella (Petrella) Taddei and came to the Youngstown area as a child. Eva was a member of Mt. Carmel Church and a member of the Ladies of the Crucifix. Eva had worked in the cafeteria at YSU and prior to this had been employed at Moyer Mfg. Eva loved to cook and was an excellent cook. She is survived by a daughter, Helen (Tom) Hynes of Austintown, daughter in law Linda Varso of Austintown, sisters; Helen Viola of Youngstown, Mary Leary of Ft. Myers, FL., grandsons; Tim(Michele) and Shawn(Melissa) Varso and great-grandchildren; Emily, Lindsey and Adam. Eva was preceded in death by a son James Varso and brother Fred Taddei. Family and friends may call from 8:30 am to 9:30 am Tuesday at the church prior to Mass. The family request instead of flowers donations be made to the church in Eva's memory.
