Evelyn Jean Schoenfelt

CANFIELD—Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel for Evelyn Jean Schoenfelt of Canfield who died Friday evening in Assumption Village. Mrs. Schoenfelt was born April 20, 1921 in Poland OH. the daughter of Thomas S. and Lillian L. (Black) Richards. She was a member of the Justice Court # 26-Order of Amaranth, Past Grand Worthy Royal Matron, and a graduate of Poland High School. Her husband Earl H. Schoenfelt whom she married March 7, 1940 died May 7, 2002 preceded Mrs. Schoenfelt in death. She is survived by her daughter Donna Jean Collins of Canfield, One sister Ruby (William) Bancroft of Canfield, two brothers Thomas S. (Viola) Richards of Stone Mountain GA., Robert E. (Ethel) Richards of Poland, eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. Her daughter Patricia L. Schoenfelt, granddaughter Christine Colkitt, brother William James Richards and sister Lillian L. Paulin, preceded her in death. Friends may call at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel from 7-9 PM Tuesday.
