EVELYN MAE LIPPIATT, 83 BERLIN CENTER-There will be a Memorial Service at 12 p.m. Saturday at Lane Family Funeral Homes-Canfield Chapel for Evelyn Mae Lippiatt, 83, who died Saturday morning May 21st at Blossom Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Evelyn was born February 10, 1933 in Ellsworth, the daughter of Orrie and Mabel Bunts Diver. Evelyn was a cook at Western Reserve High School for over 25 years, retiring in 1998. She was a graduate of Western Reserve High School. Evelyn was a member of Ellsworth Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Ellsworth VFW Auxillary and several card clubs. Evelyn loved spending time with her family and friends and was always doing for others. Evelyn also enjoyed cooking and baking. Her husband of 56 years, Eugene H. Lippiatt, whom she married Oct. 25, 1953, died Dec. 18, 2009. Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Annette S. James of Berlin Center and Darlene R. Vanjura of New Middletown; her brother, John (Norma) Diver of Canfield; her grandchildren, Brandy Wolf of Austintown and Drew (Emily) Vanjura of New Middletown and her gr. grandchildren, Kahlan Wolf and Hayley Vanjura. Besides her parents and husband, Evelyn was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Jesse A. James. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday prior to the Service at the funeral home.
