Evelyn Sue Slusher

Evelyn Sue Slusher, age 64 of Cortland, Ohio, died at 2:19 PM on Friday, December 6, 2013 at her home after a brief illness. She was born in Warren, Ohio on September 19, 1949, the daughter of the late Everett Lee and Lucille Virginia Kohler Bright. Evelyn was a 1968 graduate of Maplewood High School and was a homemaker; she loved to cook and bake. Survivors include her son, Timothy Slusher of Cortland; one granddaughter, Kellie Barry of Cortland; her siblings, Dennis (Maria) Bright of Lompoc, CA, Lois Ann (James) Parthemer of Mecca, Bonnie (Raymond) Cottrill of Mecca, Everett Michael (Fran) Bright of Hubbard, and Susan Elaine (Chris) Skodinski of Mishawaka, IN. Other than her parents, her husband, Gerald Lee Slusher preceded her in death in 1989. There will not be any calling hours or services and Mrs. Slusher's cremated remains will be interred in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Greene, Ohio next to her beloved husband.
