Frederick Lee Sattler, 81 Youngstown: There will be prayers at 9:15 a.m. Monday December 15th at Lane Family Funeral Home, 65 N. Broad Street, Canfield Chapel followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Christine Parish, 3165 South Schenley Ave. Youngstown for Frederick Lee Sattler, 81 of Youngstown who died early Thursday morning at Hospice House. Frederick Lee was born May 18, 1933 in Youngstown, a son of the late Fred and Lenore Shannon Sattler and was a lifelong area resident. He graduated from South High School in 1952 and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Frederick Lee had worked as a union carpenter for 30 years at United Interiors where he retired. He was a member of St. Christine Parish. Frederick enjoyed restoring his father's 1941 Ford. He never owned anything but a Ford. He enjoyed the opera, Elvis Presley and was an avid Nascar racing fan. He leaves his wife, the former Eleanor "Ellie" Smith whom he celebrated 50 years of marriage on October 24, 2014. He leaves his daughter and son-in-law Jeanne and Emilio Sebastiani of Canfield; his beloved Yorkie, Tango "Baby" and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Frederick Lee was preceded in death by a sister, Sally Hudak and a brother, Ronald Sattler. Friends may call on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
