Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 17th at Lane Funeral Home, Canfield Chapel for Faith Elaine Dunkel, 79 of Canfield who passed away peacefully Friday morning at her residence after a long battle with cancer. Faith was born May 5, 1931 in Youngstown, the fourth child to Rudolph and Alma Schroeder Timmerman and was a lifelong area resident. She was a 1949 graduate of South High School in Youngstown, growing up on Cohasset Ave. Her beloved husband, Norman P. Dunkel whom she married July 1, 1950, died June 25, 2010 after 60 blessed years together. Faith will be sadly missed by her son, Brian N. Dunkel of Boardman; her daughter, Faith Dunkel Mueller of Chattanooga, Tennessee;5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and family and friends who will miss this energetic and gentle soul. Besides her parents and her husband, Faith was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Lee Timmerman and a sister, Margaret Ann Tessmer. Faith was aloyal member of Canfield United Presbyterian Church for over 60 years, a member of the Red Hat Society and loved bowling. Faith also had a great love of nature and gardening. Friends may call on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
