Fay N. Hood, of Austintown and formerly of Florida, passed away at 11:24 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2011 in Northside Medical Center following complications of a stroke. She was 67 years old. Mrs. Hood was born on June 14, 1943 in Warren the daughter of the late Roy W. and Phyllis Noble. A homemaker, Mrs. Hood was married on May 18, 1960 to Glenn Hood Jr. and they were married for 42 years until his passing on June 29, 2001. Mrs. Hood is survived by four children Glenn R. (Kim) Hood III of Colorado, Jeffrey "Randy" (Denise) Hood with whom she made her home, Mark P. Hood of California and Michelle (James) Riley of Arkansas; siblings Terry Noble of Cortland, Donna (Bill) Stellar of Cleveland, Grace (Mark) Warro of Florida and Harry (Kim) Noble of Georgia; and seven grandchildren Glenn R. Hood IV, Stone P. Hood, Jeffrey Hood Jr., Bronson Hood, Whitney Myers, David Heaton Jr. and Angela Riley. Besides her parents and husband, Mrs. Hood was preceded in death by a brother John Noble. In keeping with Mrs. Hood's wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral services and caring cremation will take place under the guidance of the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.
