Florence M Kocsis

Florence M. Kocsis, age 94, of Cortland, died, Friday, August 20, 2010 at the Hospice House in Poland. She was born on August 9, 1916, in Cortland, a daughter of the late Dr. A. O. McLaughlin and the late Zelma Wilson McLaughlin. A lifetime resident of Cortland, Florence graduated from Cortland High School and was a lifetime member of the Cortland United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Opal Chapter # 181 Order of Eastern Star, Pink Lady and volunteered with Mobile Meals. Florence is survived by her son, Robert (Sheryl) Kocsis of Columbus, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph N. Kocsis and a brother, Robert McLaughlin. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Shafer-Winans Funeral Chapel in Cortland.
