Floyd Herbert Smith

Floyd H. Smith, age 85, of Warren, died on Monday, August 13, 2012 at the Autumn Hills Care Center in Niles. He was born on September 10, 1926 in Warren, a son of the late Raymond Smith and the late Mae Nixon Smith. Floyd served in the United States Navy during WWII and had worked as a Pipefitter out of the Local 225. He is survived by his wife, Jean E. Blaine Smith; 2 daughters, Pat Sperry of Warren and Sandra Boards of California and by 2 sons, John Smith of Warren and Robert Hipple of Warren. Also surviving are many grandchildren, great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Floyd was preceded in death by 2 sons, Eric and David, and by a brother, Tom. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 17, 2012 from 10AM -11AM at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel. Services will be held on Friday at 11AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.
