Frances Ann Dobrozdravic of Masury, Ohio, died at 9:54 AM Saturday (10-27-2007) in the Sharon Regional Health Care System following an extended illness. She was 79. Mrs. Dobrozdravic was born in Hubbard, Ohio on December 11, 1927, a daughter of Joseph S. and Bertha (Kuzel) Rudar. After graduating from Brookfield High School in 1945, Frances married Pete Dobrozdravic on August 12, 1950, spending 57 years together in each other’s arms. She was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker who enjoyed her family, gardening, bingo, playing cards, fishing, and bowling. Frances was a member of St. Anthony’s Church, Sharon, Pennsylvania, since 1930; one of the original “St. Anthony’s Bakerettes”; St. Anthony’s Tamburitzans; Croatian Fraternal Union; and the Croatian Catholic Union. Survivors include: her husband, Pete “Murph”; her children, Jerome Dobrozdravic & his wife Carolyn, Clark, PA, Richard Dobrozdravic, Tehachapi, CA, and Barbara McMaster & her husband Thomas, Chagrin Falls, OH; her sister, Dorothy F. Rudar, Masury, OH; and her eight grandchildren who called her “Baba”, Peter, Lisa, Jeffrey, Amy, Todd, Alexis, James, and Gillian. She was preceded in death by her parents; by her son, Paul Dobrozdravic, and an infant brother. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 PM Friday at St. Anthony’s Church, with Rev. Dan Kresinski, Pastor. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-7 PM at the Madasz Funeral Chapel, Brookfield. Burial will be in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Hermitage, PA.
