Frances "Louise" Lisak, 88, formerly of Warren, went home to be with the Lord Thursday Feb.19, 2009 at the University Medical Center in Lubbock, TX. She was born Aug.21, 1920 in Bakerton, WV, the daughter of Claud and Nellie (Mills) Hanes. A Warren area resident since 1953 coming from West Virginia, Louise was head cashier for 5 years at the Griswold Co. and for 10 Years at Hills Dep't. Stores retiring in 1970. She enjoyed sewing, ceramics, bowling, square dancing and especially her family. Louise was of the Methodist faith. Her beloved husband Steve Lisak whom she married Feb. 17, 1945 preceded her in death Oct. 6, 1995. She also was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Leon Hanes and a stillborn brother. She will be sadly missed by her daughters Vivian (Tommy) Hess of Warren, Patricia Watson of Lubbock, TX, 4 grandchildren, Michael (Jean) Hess of Warren, Duane (Kim) Watson of Lubbock, Gary Hess of Warren, Pamela (Rodney) Pope of Lubbock, 5 great grandchildren Katrina Gentry, Abbi Watson, Hanna Alexander all of Lubbock, Brent Kirk and fianc Jaime Pelo and Jennifer (Adam) Riggle of Warren. She also leaves 2 great great grandchildren Alexis and Logan Riggle, and 2 sisters Virginia Howdershell of Berryville, VA and Hazel Slusher of Ranson, WV. Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday Feb. 25, 2009 at Roberts-Clark Chapel where friends will be received from 6-9 PM Tuesday. Pastor Raymond Gill will officiate. Interment will be in the Meadowbrook Memorial Park in Champion.
