Brookfield - Frances. R Lukasko, 82, passed away Sunday morning, January 25, 2015 at her home with her family by her side. She was born on September 30, 1932 in Sharon, PA, the daughter of Paul and Anna (Murcko) Varga. She was a 1950 graduate of Brookfield High School and a member of St. Thomas the Apostle in Vienna. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and canning, baking, and enjoyed flowers. She will be missed by her five sons, Alec (Cathy) Lukasko Jr. of Brookfield, Mark (Monica) Lukasko of Sharpsville, Dr. Luke (Judy) Lukasko of Garrettsville, Paul (Lisa) Lukasko of Hartford, and George Lukasko of Brookfield; seven grandchildren, Kelly, Kara, Mark Alec, Marisa, Michaelene, Rachel, and Joey; and three great grandchildren, Nicoletta, Mark, and Sam. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Alec Lukasko, whom she married on June 21, 1952 and passed away on January 24, 1966; one son August Lukasko; one sister Mary Falhammer; and three brothers, Martin, Paul, and Jack Varga. Friends and family may call from 5-8:00PM on Tuesday January 27, 2015 at Lane Family Funeral Homes - Madasz Chapel at 6923 Warren - Sharon Road Brookfield, OH 44403. Closing prayers will begin at 9:15AM on Wednesday morning January 28, 2015 at the funeral home to be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial will beginning at 10:00AM at St. Thomas the Apostle (St. Vincent de Paul) in Vienna, OH with the Very Rev. Frank Zanni V.F. as Pastor. Burial will take place at Brookfield Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to Hospice of the Valley located at 5190 Market Street Youngstown, OH 444512
