Frances V Procopio

Frances V. Procopio, 79, of Howland Twp. died 7:00 PM Saturday at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, MN following a courageous 2 year battle with cancer. She was born Jan.13, 1930 in West Virginia the daughter of Ronald and Virginia (Barber) Hale. An area resident for most of her life, Fran was a 1947 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and was a long time member of St. Mary’s Church of Warren. She was the owner-operator of the Triangle Inn in Warren since the death of her husband in 1976. An avid dart player, she played on a traveling dart team that she sponsored. Fran also loved the Cleveland Indians, Cavs, and Browns but her greatest joy came from her family especially her grandchildren. Her husband Vernon J. Procopio whom she married Jan.31, 1953 preceded her in death Aug. 1, 1976. She also was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by a son Samuel R. (Brenda) Procopio of Howland, a daughter Patricia Ann (Richard) Mirabelli of Minneapolis, MN and 2 grandsons Stephen Andrew Procopio and Frank J. Mirabelli. The Rev. Charles Crumbley will celebrate a mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM Thursday June 18, 2009 at St. James Church of Warren. Friends will be received from 6-8 Wednesday at Roberts-Clark Chapel. Cremation will follow. The family suggests material contributions be made to the American Cancer Society 525 North Broad St. Canfield, OH 44406.
