Frank Gerasimek

Frank Gerasimek of 7525 Warren-Sharon Rd., Brookfield, Ohio, died Wednesday (12-28-2005) in the Emergency Room of Sharon Regional Health Care Center, Sharon after a sudden illness. He was 72. Mr. Gerasimek was born in Cadiz, Ohio on January 25, 1933, a son of John and Josephine (Kruszewski) Gerasimek. He was a Millwright for Packard Electric retiring in 1994 after 20 years of service. He was protestant by faith. In his spare time, Frank enjoyed fishing & gardening. Survivors include: son, Thomas J. Gerasimek & his wife Donna, Lawrenceville, GA; daughter, Tammy J. Murcko & her husband Frank Jr., Brookfield, OH; sister, Maryann Dodds, Sharpsville, PA; 5 brothers, Edward, Paul, James, Leo & George Gerasimek, all of Sharpsville, PA; and 3 grandchildren, Eddie & Kaleigh Gerasimek & Sammy Murcko. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Bonnie L. (Crea) Gerasimek, whom he married May 28, 1960, she died December 15, 2002; and his brother, Robert Gerasimek. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday at Madasz Funeral Chapel, Brookfield, with Rev. Daniel Houck, officiating. Calling hours will be 2 hours prior to the service. Burial will be in Corner House Cemetery, Hubbard, OH. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
