AUSTINTOWN- Frank Michael Hruby, 90, of Austintown passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2013. He was born on April 3, 1923 in East Conemaugh, PA. Frank was an U.S. Army veteran in World War II. He served honorably and sustained severe injuries during his time protecting our country. He married his loving wife of 56 years, Pauline (Ekoniak) Hruby, in September of 1957. Frank loved baseball and was a devoted fan of the New York Yankees. Left to mourn Frank's passing is his wife, Pauline (Ekoniak) Hruby, his brother-in-law, Paul (Jan) Ekoniak, his sister, Ann (Skip) Root, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Frank is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Helen Chuirazzi, and his brother, Michael Hruby. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 30, from 10AM-12noon at Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, St. James Church, 50 Rosemont Rd, North Jackson, OH. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12noon. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Frank's honor to Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, St. James Church, 50 Rosemont Rd, North Jackson, OH.
