Frank W. Fonagy 79, of Masury, Ohio passed away at 1:41 AM on Sunday April 8, 2012 at UPMC Horizon in Farrell, PA. He was born on February 13, 1933 in Masury a son of the John and Helen (Szabo) Fonagy. Frank was a 1951 Alumni of Brookfield High School and following graduation went on to enlist with United States Navy serving as a Machinist Mate 3rd Class during the Korean War and receive the National Defense Service Medal for his service. Frank worked as a meat cutter for over twenty-five years at both Krogers Grocery and for the Finest Corporation in Youngstown. He was a member of the Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, American Legion Post #432 in Wheatland and the Hickory V.F.W. Post #6166. He leaves behind his niece Cheryl Yourga of Masury, OH, and his great-nephew Daniel Yourga and his wife Suzanne of Wexford, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Teresa (Anzur) Fonagy on December 10, 1993, two brothers John and Joseph Fonagy, his sister Helen Kovacs; and nephew Darryl Kovacs. Per Franks request no services will be held and a private burial will take place next to his wife at the Brookfield Township Cemetery.
