Gail G Criddle

Gail G. Criddle, 84, formerly of Kinsman, died Saturday afternoon, September 4, 2010 in Cortland Care Center after a brief illness. Born in Elderton, PA on December 16, 1925, Gail was the daughter of the late Glenn R. and Goldie (Rupert) Cribbs. Gail was a Trumbull County resident for most of her life. She was a graduate of Champion High School and a loving and devoted homemaker. She enjoyed crafts, sewing and traveling. Gail will be dearly missed by her loving husband, Robert J. Criddle of Cortland, whom she married 64 years ago on April 27, 1946, by her children, Barbara (Tony) Quinn of Johnston, Ronald J. (Susan) Criddle of Champion, Larry R. (Barbara) Criddle of Bristolville, and Carol (Joe) Sankey of Champion, seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and a sister, Sally E. Durst of Castleberry, FL. She was preceded in death by a son David L. Criddle, a grandson, Mike Jackson, and by her parents. According to Gail's wishes there will be no calling hours and cremation will take place. A private family burial will be held at a later date. The family has entrusted arrangements into the care of the Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Gail's memory to the Animal Welfare League at 545 Brunstetter Rd SW Warren, OH 44481.
