Garland D. Stoneman, 77, of Vienna OH died on Monday morning August 13, 2012 at his home in Vienna, OH. He was born in Ivanhoe, VA on January 10, 1935 a son of George Stoneman and Ola Lineberry. He was a graduate of Ashtabula High School and went on to study electronics in technical college. He worked for Crown Corporation as a manager in their van conversion plant. On January 10, 1981 he married his beloved wife Marilyn, with whom he spent 31 wonderful years of marriage. He was a member of the Masonic Order Copper Penny Lodge in Vienna OH, and earned his Scottish Rite, York Rite, and served as Master Mason of the Lodge. He is survived by his beloved wife Marilyn, his five children Keith, Michelle, Melinda, Judy, and Brenda. Also surviving Garland are his eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and his son Mark. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made in Garland's name to the Special Olympics.
