GAYLE ELAINE MAYFIELD ELSTON, 74 WARREN-There will be Services at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Lane Family Funeral Homes-Mineral Ridge Chapel for Gayle Elaine Mayfield Elston who was born December 31, 1941 in Warren, a daughter of William Glen and Julia Marie Evans Mayfield, Sr. Gayle was the Home Manager for the Dr. Lippy family household for 21 years, retiring in 2003. Gayle loved playing Bingo and cards. She enjoyed gardening and feeding the birds and squires. She also enjoyed following her favorite team, the Cleveland Indians. Her husband, Kenneth P. Elston, whom she married Feb. 14, 1976, died Oct. 13, 2006. Gayle is survived by her daughters, Cathy (Merlin) Wren and Karen (David, Sr.) Myers both of Niles; her sons, William (Eva Davis) Enderton of Warren and Robert Enderton of Newton Falls; her brothers, Edward (Dee) Mayfield of Niles, Charles (Pamela) Mayfield of Weathersfield, Gregory (Karin) Mayfield of Vermilion and Duane (Sharon) Mayfield of McDonald; 12 grandchildren; 28 gr. grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Honey. Besides her parents and husband, Gayle was preceded in death by her son, James A. Enderton, her brother, William Mayfield, Jr., her sister, Marlene Mansfield, her grandson, Jeffrey Davis and her gr.
