George Povich

George Povich age 75 Boardman- A memorial service was held today at St. Charles Church in Boardman for George Povich of Boardman who passed away on Thursday afternoon at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center. Mr. Povich was born November 24 1927 in Morgan Twp. Pa., a son of John and Frances (Puskarch) Povich and came to the area in 1948. George was an Ironworker with the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental, Ironworkers Local 207. He was also an avid fisherman & bow hunter. A sister; Julia Lobozzo of Washington, PA., and a brother Albert Povich of Jefferson Pa., as well as several nieces and nephews survive him. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; Charles and Lou Povich and one sister Rose Hughes. There are no calling hours. Local arrangements were by Lane Funeral Home, Canfield.
