George William Kruse

Sebring, OH - There will a memorial service at 10 AM Friday, October 15, 2004 in Copeland Oaks Chapel in Sebring for George W. Kruse of Copeland Oaks Retirement Community, who passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2004 at 2:30 P.M. in Crandall Medical Center in Sebring. George was born on November 8, 1909 in Pennsylvania. George was the son of William H. and Katherine (Ritzert) Kruse and moved to Ohio as a child. George retired from General Motors in Sandusky, Ohio and enjoyed reading, gardening, and working on his computer. He was a member of Salem Methodist Church in Sandusky, OH. George resided for the last seven years in the Copeland Oaks Retirement Community. While there he volunteered in the green house. George is survived by a son David P. (Donna) Kruse of North Jackson, OH, a daughter Jean Staffeld of Metairie, LA., one step child June Ann Campbell of Sandusky, OH, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. George was preceded in death by his second wife, Julia Haynes, a son Douglas G. Kruse, and a stepson Bill Haynes, two sisters, two brothers, and a grandson. There will be no calling hours.
