Georgia Olive Jordon

Georgia O. (Hallberg) Jordon, 62, of Austintown, passed away August 7, 2014 at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boardman. Georgia was born June 7, 1952 in Youngstown, daughter of William and Agnes (Butryn) Hallberg. She was a 1970 graduate of South High School, and then went on to obtain a degree in Nursing from YSU. She worked at various medical facilities throughout her career. She co-owned the Pink Elephant Lounge along with her husband. She enjoyed gardening, reading and loved animals. Georgia is survived by her daughter, Amy (Shaun) Canavan; four sons, Samuel (Effie) Jordon, Ralph, Jr. (Danette) Jordon, Timothy (Jill) Gay and Philip Jordon; 10 grandchildren, Anthony, Timothy, Alyssa, Savannah, Christopher, Brooklyn, Victoria, Julia, Brianna and Scarlett; three brothers, William (Nancy), Timothy and Doug Hallberg; and one sister Camille (Ronald) Blankenship. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph in 2010 and a son Christopher. Calling hours will be held 6-8 PM Monday at the Lane Family Funeral Home 5797 Mahoning Ave. Austintown. The funeral service will be 11 AM Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
