Geraldine "Vadie" A. Earley

Geraldine "Vadie" A. Earley, of Canfield, passed away with her family by her side on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at 4:30 p.m. in St. Elizabeth Medical Center Main Campus. She was 66 years old. Geraldine was born on December 19, 1943 in Pittsburgh the daughter of the late Gerald and Helen (Bobel) Gizler and graduated from the Arsenal Vocational School in Pittsburgh. Geraldine was a care giver for Gateways to Better Living for 8 years retiring in 1998. She enjoyed and was a phenomenal cook. She was very devoted to her bible and was a talented artist. Geraldine enjoyed helping her family and most of all she enjoyed the time she spent with her four grandsons. Geraldine was a member of Christian Life Church in Canfield. She will be deeply missed by her two sons Timothy (Christina) Earley of Cincinnati and Daniel (Stefanie) Earley with whom she made her home; two brothers Gerome (Rosemary) Gizler of Pittsburgh and John Gizler of Marietta, GA; four grandsons Sean, Liam, Danny and Joey Earley and a close friend of many years Robert L. Earley of Lordstown. Calling hours will take place for Geraldine on Friday, August 13, 2010 from 5 until 8 p.m. in the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel 65 N. Broad Street, Canfield, Ohio, 44406. On Saturday, August 14, 2010 there will be a viewing at Christian Life Church, 6101 S. Raccoon Road, Canfield, Ohio, 44406 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. immediately followed by a Celebration of Life Service with Pastor Chris Woolley officiating. The family suggests that memorial contributions take the form of donations in Geraldine's name to Christian Life Church.
