Gladys M Haefke

AUSTINTOWN-There will be a funeral service held at 10:30AM Thursday, March 27, 2008 in the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Gladys M. Haefke, 84, who passed away at 4PM Saturday, March 22, 2008 in St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Gladys was born December 3, 1923 in Youngstown the only daughter of the late Harry and Rosabell (Franklin) Pittman. Gladys was a homemaker and a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Austintown. Gladys married Ervin A. "Joe" Haefke on August 2, 1942 and they were married for 62 years until his passing on August 10, 2004. Gladys is survived by three children James "Jim" (Linda), Ronald "Ron" (Barb), and Barbara "Barb" (Glen) Ripple all of Austintown; a brother Harry (Nancy) Pittman of Florida; five grandchildren Tammy (Bill) Haefke, Lisa (Ron) Lewis, Terri, Nicole, and James (Jackie) Haefke; and five great grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 from 5 until 8PM in the funeral home.
