Gladys Marie Cassidy

Gladys Marie Cassidy, 85, 1820 Stonehenge NE Warren died at 5:45 AM Friday Oct. 20, 2006 from complications following a stroke. She was born April 16, 1921 in Warren, OH the daughter of Jerry J. and Gladys L. Vennette. A lifetime Warren resident, she was a 1939 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and attended the Warren Business College. A loving homemaker, she is survived by her husband of 57 years Edward J. Cassidy whom she married September 3, 1949, 2 sons Robert James Cassidy of Warren, Richard Dennis Cassidy of Knoxville, TN, a daughter Mary Patricia Gamboa and husband Reynaldo of Perrysburg, OH, and 2 grandsons Nicholas Christopher and David Joseph Gamboa. She was preceded in death by a brother Joseph W. Vennette. The Rev. Charles Crumbley and the Rev. George Popovich will con -celebrate a funeral mass at 11:00 AM Monday Oct, 23, 2006 at St. James Catholic Church 2532 Burton St. SE Warren, OH where friends will be received for 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. A funeral luncheon will follow at St. James Church White Hall. The family requests material contributions be made to St. Vincent De Paul Society, the American Cancer Society, or to St. James Church.
