Gladys Marie Rhinehart

Warren - Gladys Marie Rhinehart, 91, passed away Tuesday afternoon, May 1, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her family. Gladys was born on December 31, 1926 in Lima, Oh, a daughter of the late Milo and Bertha (Theising) Carolus. She was a graduate of Lima Senior High School and worked at Packard Electric for over 30 years before retiring in1986. She loved to travel with her husband, especially trips to Vegas and to the casinos. She loved to crochet, shop, and loved having her family together. In her later years she loved having her chocolate candy. Gladys will be deeply missed by her daughters, Cecilia Crown and Susan Salman; her grandchildren, Jamie Salman, Michelle Lewis, Jimmy Salman, and Shawn (Kelly) Crown; her great-grandchildren, Coty (Destinee), Tyler (Emily), Bailey, Braelynn, Kyla, Caitlynn, Taren, Grace, Kyle, Nate, and Justin; two great-great-grandsons, Jayce and Jaxon; and her brother Donald Carolus. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Fredrick "Fred" W. Rhinehart, whom she married on July 3, 1954 and passed away April 3, 2008; her grandson Troy Rhinehart; six brothers; and five sisters. Funeral services for Gladys will be held on Monday May 7, 2018 at 12:00PM at Lane Family Funeral Homes Roberts - Clark Chapel at 180 Garfield Dr. NE in Warren. Family and friends may visit from 4-6:00PM on Sunday May 6, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Bazetta Township.
