There will be a funeral service 11 AM Monday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Glen Jones, of Lake Milton, who passed away Wednesday evening at St. Elizabeth Medical Center Boardman. Glen was born July 6, 1940, in Greenville, PA a son of the late Glen A. and Edith (Reinhart) Jones Sr., He enjoyed many family owned business including Jones Radiator, Jones Ice, Jerry Flag Car, and Concession Stands, which his son Jeff now operates. Glen drove school bus for Jackson Milton Schools with his wife, was a volunteer fire fighter with the Craig Beach Volunteer Fire Department since the early 1960’s. Most of all Glen enjoyed spending time with his family. His wife the former Lois “Bonnie” Smith, whom he married August 27, 1972, passed away December 18, 2007. Glen is survived by four children: Edie Jones of Lake Milton, Tina (Paul) Ray of Lake Milton, Jeff (Davine) Sickle of New Waterford, and Glen “Chuck” Jones of Lake Milton; two granddaughters: Michelle (George) and Geraldyne; three grandsons: Keith, Phillip, and Jeffrey; one great granddaughter Kennedy Noelle; and dear relative Patrick Jones. Besides his parents and wife, Glen is preceded in death by Charles Bechler, who raised him. Friends may call from 2 PM until 5 PM Sunday and from 10 AM until 11 AM Monday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.
