Glenda G. Williams

Glenda G. Ratliff-Williams, age 68 of Youngstown, Ohio, died on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 2:20 PM at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown surrounded by her family. She was born on October 17, 1946 in Wheelwright, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Glen and Maxine Spurgeon Ratliff. Glenda was a homemaker and was an avid reader. Her greatest joy was doing crafts with her great-grandson, Hayden and her great-niece, Zoey. Survivors include two daughters, Angela (Sam) Kerr, with whom she lived; six grandchildren, Christina Kerr and Melissa Kerr both of Cape Coral, FL, Patrick Sheely of Youngstown, William Sheely of Texas, Kenny (Steph) Sheely of Youngstown, Amanda (Jay) Sheely of Niles; and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her two brothers, James (Celeste) Ratliff of Poland, and John (Bernice) Ratliff of Girard; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Lane Family Funeral Homes-Austintown Chapel on Monday, December 15, 2014 at 4:00 PM where Rev. Jack Acri will celebrate Glenda's life. Family and friends may visit at the funeral on Monday, two hours prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be given to the family to help defray costs of the funeral. Burial will be private in Poland Riverside Cemetery.
