Glenn Kennedy Scott

Glenn Kennedy Scott, 87, of Cortland passed away January 20, 2008 at 3:15PM at the Concord of Cortland Healthcare Center. Glenn was born the son of the late Harold and Mabel (Williams) Scott in Warren on February 4, 1920. A lifetime area resident, Glenn retired from Copperweld Steel in 1985 after 42 years of service. Glenn served in the Army during World War II. Glenn married the former Tina Davis on February 7, 1947. Tina preceded Glenn in death on August 4, 1996. Glenn is survived by his daughter, Glenna Foley of Johnston and a sister Louise Brown of Cortland. Also surviving him are five grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends from 10 11AM Thursday January 24, 2008 at the Shafer Winans Funeral Chapel with a funeral service to follow at 11AM. Burial will take place at West Mecca Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family would like material contributions to be made in Glenns memory to the Concord of Cortland Healthcare Center 4250 Sodom Hutchings Road NE Cortland Ohio 44410.
