Gloria Mae Warner

Gloria M. Warner, 80 of Southington, died Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren. She was born August 4, 1933 in Warren, the daughter of Valentine M. "Rudy" and Pauline Franko Gmucs. She was a lifetime Trumbull county resident. Gloria was a 1951 graduate of Leavittsburg High School. She retired after 30 years service with Southington Local Schools, where she worked as a school secretary and secretary to the superintendant. Gloria loved sewing and hand made clothing for her family. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, canning and shopping. She loved animals, especially her dachshund, Koby. Her husband, Charles R. Warner, whom she married April 25, 1953, preceded her in death June 27, 1990. Her daughter, Gail V. Warner died June 28, 2013 and one brother, Don Gmucs also preceded her in death, Gloria is survived by one son, Mark R. (Cindy) Warner of Southington; four grandchildren, Donna Warner, James Warner, Michael (Genna) Warner and David Warner and one sister, Patricia "Pat" Barnett of Champion Township. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel in Warren, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday. Pastor Broe Davis will officiate. Burial will be at Pineview Memorial Park in Warren. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 525 N. Broad St., Canfield, OH 44406 or to the Animal Welfare League, 812 Youngstown-Kingsville Rd. SE, Vienna, OH 44473.
