Services will be 12 Noon Saturday at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel for Grace Dyckman, 91, of Canfield who passed away Wednesday morning. Grace was born September 19, 1918 in Lenox Mass., the daughter of John A. and Frieda (Mausberger) Gardner and came to this area in 1943. She worked for General Electric, Canfield Bakery, and Strouss Department Store during her career, but most importantly she was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker. Grace was a member of Canfield United Methodist Church, and A.A.R.P. Her husband Charles A. Dyckman Jr. whom she married May 11, 1940 passed away September 2, 1968. Grace leaves five children; Lois Dyckman of Willoughby Hills with whom she made her home for the past two years, Faye (Dan) Gardner of Pickerington OH, John (Marge) Dyckman of Aston PA, Roy Dyckman of Canfield, and Ted (Pam) Dyckman of Norwalk OH., one sister Peggy (Harry) Miles of Pittsfield MA, as well as 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, Grace is preceded in death by a grandson Albert Dyckman, and a sister Ellen Erwin. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 PM today and again from 11 AM until the time of services Saturday at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel. The family request donations be made to the church memorial fund or to Hospice and Palliative Care Partners of Ohio in Cleveland in Graces name.
