Grace Louise Meister

Grace L. (Engstrom) Meister, age 86, of Fowler, Ohio, died Thursday, October 19, 2006, at 7:50 PM at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, Ohio. She was born on July 30, 1920 in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of the late Edward H. Engstrom and the late Laura E. Ripple Engstrom. Mrs. Meister was a member of the Fowler Community Church and had spent most of her life working as a homemaker. She married Merle W. Meister on August 16, 1941. Merle preceded her in death on November 18, 1997. She is survived by two daughters, Peggy Jarvis of San Antonio, TX., and Linda Pappa of Hubbard, OH. Two sons, Aric W. Meister of Fowler and Mark E. Meister also of Fowler. Two sisters, Judith L Kerr of Flemington, NJ., and Sarah E. Myers of Youngstown. One brother, William H. Engstrom of Warren, five grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by two sister, Alice M. Huston and Doris C. Lenczycki and two brothers, Robert E. and John S. Engstrom. A Memorial Service will be held at the Fowler Community Church at a later date. Interment will be at Dugan Cemetery in Fowler, Ohio. Arrangements are being handled by Shafer-Winans Funeral Chapel, 164 North High Street, Cortland, Ohio.
