Grayce Bequeath of Atlanta, GA, formerly of Vienna, OH, died on Thursday (5-3-2007) in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Atlanta. She was 86. Mrs. Bequeath was born in Fowler Twp., OH on July 13, 1920, a daughter of Robert and Grace (Williams) Kingsley. Grayce retired from the Howland Community School District where she had served as a teacher. Over her 45 year career, she taught at Mecca, Champion, Johnston Twp., and Fowler Twp. Schools as well. She was a member of the Vienna Presbyterian Church in Vienna, OH. Survivors include: her sons, James Bequeath & his wife Jan, Atlanta, GA, Jon Bequeath, Atlanta, GA, and Joel Bequeath & his wife Carol, Manchester, NH; her five grandchildren; her 3 great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband, Bruce Edward Bequeath, whom she married August 15, 1943, he died March 28, 2005; by her brother, Clyde Kingsley; and by her sisters, Dorothy Kinleyside, Helen Dahman, and Marian Kingsley. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Madasz Funeral Chapel, Brookfield, OH, with Rev. Paul Johnson, Pastor. Calling hours will be from 9:30-11:00 AM. Burial will be Vienna Township Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, the family suggests in lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Vienna Presbyterian Church.
