Gregory Bruce Wilson, Jr.

Gregory Bruce Wilson, Jr., age 44 of Southington passed away unexpectedly on Saturday May 23, 2020 at his home. He was born October 13, 1975 in Warren the son of the late Gregory Bruce Wilson Sr. and Shirley Wix Wilson of Warren.
Greg was a graduate of Southington Chalker High School. He worked in construction and on a documentary film crew. One of Greg's most proud moments was during the end of the 2016 NBA season, while working with the camera crew responsible for Kobe Bryant's documentary. Greg was able to film some of the most memorable highlights of Kobe's career and was able to film and interview a few notable players. He also loved working on cars and was the “neighborhood mechanic”. He had attended the Life Church of God in Leavittsburg.
Greg leaves behind his mother, Shirley Wix Wilson of Warren; two sons, Gregory B. Wilson III of Niles and Corbin Wilson at home in Southington; two brothers, Rex Wilson of Jacksonville, Fla. and Jonathan “Trass” Wilson of Warren, as well as a host of friends and family. His father had preceded him in death.
The memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2020 at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel in Warren, where friends may call an hour prior to the services. Cremation was held. Friends and family may send condolences and view the obituary at www.robertsclarkchapel.com
