GRETCHEN L. SAUNDERS Age 67 North Jackson- Services honoring the life of Gretchen Saunders will be held at 11 am Monday at Pricetown United Methodist Church 4640 Pritchard-Ohltown Rd. Newton Falls, Ohio. Gretchen was born December 1, 1946 the daughter of Paul J. and Elizabeth Jean (McMichael) Johnson. Gretchen graduated from Mercer High School in 1964 then graduated from Youngstown State University with her master's degree in education. She retired in 1999 from Warren G. Harding High School where she had taught for 30 years. She was a member of Pricetown United Methodist Church and a long time member of the American Sewing Guild Gretchen stared many chapters of the sewing guild in the area. Gretchen will be sadly missed by her husband of 45 years, Robert "David" Saunders whom she married in 1969, her son Kevin M. (Jessica) Saunders of Lake Milton and her twin brother Francis "Bruce" (Barbara) Johnsonof Hermitage, PA and sister, Paula (Samuel) Samolsky of Jeffersonville, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents. Family and friends may call from 4-8pm Sunday at the Lane Family Funeral Home Austintown Chapel and from 10-11am Monday prior to services at the church.
