Guida C. Craven, 93 There will be a Celebration of Life service at 11:30 a.m. Friday, July 20th at Lane Family Funeral Homes, 65 N. Broad Street, Canfield Chapel for Guida C. Craven, 93 of Austintown who died early Monday morning at the Windsor House of Canfield. Guida was born March 17, 1925 in Warren, a daughter of the late Adolph and Fannie (Viola) Santucci and was a lifelong area resident. Guida worked at the General Electric Plant in Warren for over 30 years before retiring. She was a member of the ITAM Club and the Civitellesi Club and enjoyed bowling and dancing. She enjoyed going to Music in the Park, especially when her brother's band was playing. She loved to bake and according to her family, made the best clothespin cookies. Her first husband, Emery Andrew Smida, whom she married February 8, 1947, died July 24, 1960. Her second husband, Edward J. Craven, whom she married May 5,1962, died February 9, 1971. She leaves her son, Philip and his wife Peggy of Canfield; three grandchildren, Philip Smida, II, Donald Smida and Michael Smida and one brother, Gene (Rosalie) Santucci of Warren. Besides her parents and her husbands, Guida was preceded in death by a son, Donald Lee Smida; a granddaughter, Amy Smida; two brothers, Anthony Santucci, Louis Santucci and two sisters, Judy Thomas and Adelaide Knotek. Friends may call on Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:30 a.m. at Lane Funeral Home.
