H. Katherine Hansel

Austintown—Funeral services will be held at 11 am Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Katherine Hansel of Austintown who died Thursday afternoon at North Side hospital. Mrs. Hansel was born March 11, 1927 in Struthers the daughter of Roy and Burdell (Cooper) Pace and was a lifelong area resident. Mrs. Hansel was employed in the cosmetic department for the former G.M. McKelvey Department Store in Youngstown. She was a member of the Austintown Community Church and loved to bowl, she bowled a 300 game which she was very proud of. She is survived by her husband of 57 years Richard T. Hansel Sr. whom she married June 29, 1947, her children; June (Brad) Booth of Pleasant Gardens N.C., Kathy Ruth Russell of Youngstown and Richard T. Jr. and Robert D. both of Austintown, her sister Carolyn Agee of Canfield, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Robert Pace. Family and friends may call from 5-8 pm Monday at the funeral home.
