Harry Boyd Proper, 72 formally of Orchard Avenue, Warren passed away Monday morning at the Alterra Assisted Living Center. Harry, better known as Boyd, was born October 11, 1930 in Cooperstown, PA, the son of Harry and Cora Belle (Ceas) Proper. He had been employed as a #6 pickler for Republic Steel for 34 years, retiring in 1993. . Harry is survived by three daughters, Kim Gibbs of Canfield, DeeDee (Walt) Lachowski of Warren and Brenda (Kevin) Clark of Niles, and a son Boyd Proper of Warren. Two sisters, Eleanor Johnson of Frewsburg, NY and Doris Beggs of Sandy Lake, PA. Harry also leaves 6 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Frieda Horne, whom he married March 31, 1958, a brother, Harold Proper and three sisters, Florence Woods, Freda Sloss and Clara Baker.Funeral services will be held 2 PM Friday at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, calling hours will be held from Noon to 2 PM prior to the service
