Harry D. Staccine (Guistacchini) of 486 Golf Drive, SE, Brookfield, Ohio, died on Wednesday (10-18-2006) in St. Joseph Health Center, Warren, Ohio following an extended illness. He was 57. Mr. Staccine was born in Sharon, Pennsylvania on April 29, 1949, a son of Harry and Ann (Kollar) Staccine. A 1967 graduate from Brookfield High School, Harry furthered his education by attending classes at Youngstown State University. Harry retired from the Trumbull County Sheriff Department after 30 years as a Deputy Sheriff. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Hubbard, Ohio; the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #137, Warren; the Ohio Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association; the First Italian Social Club, Farrell, PA; an elected Committee Person for the Brookfield Township Board of Elections Precinct “K”; the Humane Society; and a Member of the Sideliners Club, Brookfield. In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling, cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the companionship of his yellow lab, “Laddie”. Survivors include: his wife, Mary Joy (Patterson) Staccine, whom he married July 9, 1988; his sister, Paula Chieffo & her husband Larry, Hermitage, PA; his nephews, Chris & Larry Chieffo; and his godson & great nephew, Ryan Chieffo. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with Rev. Timothy O’Neill, Pastor. Calling hours will be Sunday from 5-8 PM at the Madasz Funeral Chapel, 6923 Warren-Sharon Rd., Brookfield. Entombment will be in St. Rose Catholic Cemetery, Hermitage. As an expression of sympathy, the family suggests contributions can be made to the building fund @ St. Patrick’s (or) Food Kitchen @ St. Vincent de Paul, Youngstown, Ohio.
