Hattie Pearl Mcconnell

Diamond- Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday at the John L. Ziegenheim Funeral Home in St. Louis, Missouri for Hattie McConnell, age 92 of Laurie Ann Nursing Home- formerly of Diamond, OH who died Tuesday afternoon at the nursing home. Hattie was born Nov. 19, 1914 in DeSoto, Missouri and was the daughter of the late Perry and Hattie (Hessler) Bellville. She was a homemaker and a member of East Side Church of God in Warren. Her husband, Carl Leonard McConnell whom she married Sept. 10, 1932 died April 24, 1959. She leaves two children, Robert (Irma) McConnell and Lorraine Hafner, a brother James (Helen) Bellville. 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Hattie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, six brothers, Joseph, Floyd Robert, Lilburn, Charles and Emmet Bellville, three sisters, Cora Bellville, Irene Lohmann, Minnie Homfeldt, a grandson Michael McConnell and her son-in-law Fred Hafner. Friends may call at the Lane Funeral Home-Austintown Chapel from 6-8 PM Thursday evening.
