Hazel L. Duganne

Private funeral services were held today at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel for Hazel Lucille Duganne who passed away Thursday morning at the Hospice House. She was born July 14, 1921 in Struthers, a daughter of the late Glenn A. and Lucy Frances George Benner. She was a nurse for Drs. Resch and Schreiber in Canfield and then Dr. Sinsheimer. She had also worked for several nursing homes in the area. Her husband W. Keith Duganne whom she married July 29, 1937, passed away November 13, 1994. Hazel is survived by three children: Sandra J. (Edward) Kurdziel of Boardman, W. Keith (Linda) Duganne II of Boardman, and Donna (Darnell) Soltis of Doylestown; one sister Lois Resnick of Boardman, one brother David Benner of Michigan, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a brother Glenn Benner and a grandson Michael Keith Soltis. There are no calling hours.
