Helen B. Ewing

Funeral services will be held at 11am Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel for Helen B. Ewing, 73, who died Thursday evening at Salem Community Hospital. She was born January 4, 1937 in New Brighton, PA, a daughter of Frank O. and Lillie P. (Young) Luke. She spent her adult life as a homemaker, lovingly raising and caring for her family. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Sidney R. Ewing, whom she married January 25, 1964. She also leaves behind four children; Georgia (David) Drouhard of Berlin Center, Donna M. Ewing (Daniel Hamner) of North Jackson, Rebecca L. Ewing (R.J. Yingling) of Warren, and Roger W. (Sandy) Ewing of Canfield; two sisters; Alice (Charles) Scott of East Liverpool, and Elma Elliott of Rochester; nine grandchildren; and one great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; Charles, George, William, Frank, and Raymond Luke; and a sister, Virginia Fox. Friends may call from 6-8pm Monday at the funeral home.
